So, how do you kick start your new business or even grow your current business when it is difficult to meet face-to-face? Well, the internet has now become the friend of friends. Currently, the most effective way of communicating is through telephone, mobile phone, social media or videoconferencing. If you purposely and strategically employee these options, you can still have a viable business. For example, I am an advocate user of Facebook, Meetup, Instagram and videoconferencing. Besides, asking your family, friends and associates for referrals. I take advantage of Meetup by hosting several groups. Because of COVID, I am limited to online instead of face-to-face interactions. However, if you have the right hook, you will attract many people to your sight. Even though you may have an excellent product, so does everyone else. The question is what is the hook? Are you appealing to potential clients through all senses. Can they taste, see, smell or feelwhat you are selling? Are you just giving the facts or do you include light humor or beauty to attract your clients? Remember, Networking 2020 must also includes some old marketing techniques to ensure survival during these turbulent times.
